Senior Engineering Manager, L3Harris Technologies, Inc.

Sabrina P. Morton

Sabrina is a decisive, action-oriented, results focused Senior Engineering Manager. She brings with her sixteen years of government contractor and leadership experience serving both foreign and domestic customers through development and sustainment systems. Experience includes leading both: software/systems and requirements development, procurement activities, planning and monitoring cost, schedule, and risk management. Driven by new challenges and desire to be successful in all endeavors.

Sabrina has strong interpersonal skills by building confidence from colleagues that work around her and across the organization. She leads by example and is one that rolls up her sleeve to get the job done. She finds solutions to what keeps the leadership team up at night.

Sabrina’s intuitive communications skills have bridged gaps to accomplish what others have accepted as unachievable. These unique transcend peer abilities in effective leadership.

Background

Sabrina currently serves as the Senior Engineering Manager for a team of 13 Engineering Managers and over 100 Systems Engineers within L3Harris Technologies, Inc. Space and Airborne Systems. She leads these various teams within Mission Avionics, Military Displays, Robotics, Electronic Warfare and Cyber Security. Her teams are spread geographically throughout the U.S and the United Kingdom. She previously served as Change Manager and as the Chief Requirements Engineer for L3Harris on the F35 Technical Refresh Program (TR3).

Prior to working for L3Harris Sabrina worked for Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin Corporations. She served in multiple roles including Requirements Manager for the E-2D Hawkeye program, Deputy Program Integrator on the Presidential Helicopter Program, Project Manager on the S92 Helicopter Program as well as Sr. Project Engineer on the FASFAC Radar System Program.

Sabrina has found the key to personal and professional work life balance. She is the mother of 4 children and 1 grandchild. She’s an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Sabrina leads various efforts within those organizations and volunteers over 100 hours each year.
