Animal Emergency & Critical Care Center of Brevard

Dr. Mary D'Ambrosio

Mary D’Ambrosio (previously Mary Jackson) and is a Board Certified Veterinary Criticalist at Animal Specialty and Emergency Center of Brevard.  She grew up in central Missouri where she developed a love for all animals and an appreciation for the doctors that kept ours healthy.  After completing an undergraduate degree in Animal Science, she was accepted to the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.  Upon completion of her DVM, she accepted a rotating Internship position at Coral Springs Animal Hospital in Coral Springs, FL to learn all about small animals.  Upon completion of the Internship, she accepted an Emergency and Critical Care Residency at the University of Missouri.  After graduating residency, she returned to Florida where she discovered the gem of a town that is Melbourne.

Her professional interests include CPCR, coagulopathic disease, poly-trauma and ultrasound.  She loves to brainstorm with others to learn new and different treatment options to elevate the care of the medicine in the Florida community.

In her free time, she loves to spend time at the pool and the beach with her husband Joe, daughter Olivia and all of their pets.  We are the proud parents of a German Shorthair Pointer, Bernie; a Golden Retriever, Sir Newton Beasley; and 3 cats, Tiger Chip, Cheddar Chip and Smokey.
